In 2022, Pastor Bonner released his most recent book, The Fight For Your Life. This powerful work examines the spiritual struggle many face in trying to control their own lives, instead of surrendering to God’s divine plan. It is a reminder that true peace, life, and prosperity come from following the path God has already laid out for us.

Since becoming the pastor of Mount Zion Baptist Church in Carrollton, Georgia, eight years ago, Pastor Bonner has led the congregation with passion and purpose. Under his leadership, the church has experienced spiritual growth and transformation, deeply rooted in the Word of God.

Pastor Christopher Bonner continues to inspire and impact lives around the world, faithfully proclaiming the truth of God’s Word and encouraging others to live according to His perfect plan . 

 

OUR FIRST LADY

Lady Carisa H. Bonner was born on August 18, 1975, in Carrollton, Georgia, to Ms. Renae Houston and Mr. Randy Houston. She was educated in the Carrollton City School System and proudly graduated from Carrollton High School in 1993. She went on to attend the University of West Georgia for two years before transferring to West Georgia Technical College, where she earned her Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) degree in 1997.

Lady Bonner has dedicated over three decades to the medical field. She has worked at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton, Georgia, for 32 years and currently serves in the OBGYN department at Tanner Villa Rica. Her passion for nursing stems from her desire to help people become healthy so they can glorify Christ with their bodies.
In her commitment to ministry and personal growth, Lady Bonner returned to school and earned a Certificate of Counseling from Covington Theological Seminary. She is currently pursuing further studies with the goal of obtaining an Associate Degree in Biblical Counseling.

A servant leader with a heart for people, Lady Bonner is deeply passionate about seeing God’s people live healthy, whole, and successful lives—with Jesus Christ at the center. She is especially devoted to supporting women and children, both in the community and within the school system. She frequently speaks at local schools, inspiring teens to pursue their dreams, and actively participates in Go Red for Women events promoting heart health awareness.

Lady Bonner also leads the Women of Zion (WOZ) women’s ministry at Mount Zion Baptist Church, where she helps coordinate community outreach efforts including food drives, Toys for Tots, and other impactful initiatives in the Carrollton area.

With a profound love for God’s Word and God’s people, Lady Bonner faithfully serves as the First Lady of Mount Zion Baptist Church, standing firmly beside her husband, Reverend Christopher Bonner.
On June 20, 1998, Lady Bonner married Reverend Bonner, and together they have been blessed with two beautiful children: Lexus (Jay Mitchell) and Jordan.
